Ankle Pain

What is ankle pain?

Ankle pain is located in the ankle joint located between the foot and the lower leg bones (tibia and fibula). It can often be a symptom of an underlying disease. Ankle pain can also come from two other surrounding joints. It can be caused by arthritis, trauma (strain or fracture), nerve injury or entrapment, osteoporosis, or circulatory problems.

Who does it affect?

Ankle pain is common to everyone as it affects a main weight-bearing joint.
